What We Do

Cancer in our kids. A nightmare too true for too many. Including Sebastian. His fight showed us what life really means, and what truly matters. We keep fighting for him.

As such, our core purpose is to find more targeted, less toxic treatments for pediatric cancers while easing the burdens kids and families face.

We fund early stage, cutting edge research through our annual Discovery Science Award. To date, we’ve granted $4M for pediatric cancer research at institutions including Yale, University of Colorado, Albert Einstein Medical College, Johns Hopkins, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Thanks to supporters like you, our overall impact has been $6M with matched funding and projects that have gone on to receive funding from larger institutions because of the promising results they’ve been able to present. To best determine what research projects to fund, we work closely with our medical advisory board, which is comprised of some of the top pediatric cancer doctors in the country.

Our approach is to focus on promising research that would not be funded otherwise. We do so through collaboration with leading researchers and other childhood cancer foundations. We strive to deliver hope for children and families facing a cancer diagnosis.
