Dr. Stewart

Dr. Elizabeth Stewart is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and an Assistant Member at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Solid Tumor Division of the Department of Oncology. After earning her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, she completed her pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at St. Jude. Dr. Stewart has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the 2016 St. Baldrick’s Scholar Award and the 2017 National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation Young Investigator Award. In 2022, she was honored with the SIU School of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Early Career Award. Currently, she leads as the principal investigator of the NCI U01 grant for the Pediatric Preclinical in Vivo Testing Consortium (PIVOT).
