Dr. Muraleedharan

Dr. Ranjithmenon Muraleedharan is currently a research scientist at the Center for Development Therapeutics at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  The Broad Institute is a research organization that convenes a community of researchers from across many disciplines and partner institutions—MIT, Harvard, and Harvard-affiliated hospitals.    It uses systematic, unbiased approaches to identify the root biological causes of disease and find new opportunities for therapeutic intervention.

Previously a Post-Doctoral Associate at Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Muraleedharan was educated in India and England, receiving his PhD in Oncology and Stem Cells from The University of Nottingham in the UK.   He has held research positions at both Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Yale University.   Dr. Muraleedharan was awarded our Discovery Science Award in 2020 for a project targeting DIPG – – that research will continue at Yale with our support.
