Dr. Fonseca

Dr. Adriana Fonseca is a pediatric neuro-oncologist at Children’s National Hospital and an assistant professor at George Washington University School of Medicine. She leads the Rare Brain Tumor Program and co-leads focused ultrasound studies, specializing in integrating molecular and clinical characteristics of brain tumors to rapidly translate findings into clinical trials. Dr. Fonseca completed her Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Cell Biology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, as well as the Clinical Scholars Research Training Program at Harvard Medical School. She earned her M.D. from Rosario University in Bogotá, Colombia.
